BPC and Belaruskali deliver a shipload of MOP in bulk to Australia for the first time
In October 2016, Belarusian Potash Company and Belaruskali delivered a shipload of MOP to Australia for the first time in their history. The vessel with the Belarusian cargo on board passed the scrutiny of the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, having proved the compliance of all the stages – from the production of the commodity to its discharge at the buyer’s port – with the highest international standards.
Australia sets one of the highest requirements to the product quality and safety, storage conditions, and transportation. The shipment performed by BPC is the first vessel shipment in bulk from FSU since the collapse of USSR.
For reference: Based on the 2015 results, Belarusian Potash Company held a share of 19.3% in the global potash exports. Belarusian potash is supplied to more than 100 countries worldwide.
