On December 12-13, members of the top management of the leading fertilizer company Yara International ASA (Yara), headed by the President & CEO Mr Svein Tore Holsether, visited the headquarters of Belarusian Potash Company in Minsk and the production facilities of JSC Belaruskali in Soligorsk.

The purpose of the visit was to get  more insight into the production processes of JSC Belaruskali,  and learn more about the plans for further development of the enterprise. In the course of the discussion the parties also discussed general market drivers and trends. 

Mr. Svein Tore Holsether highlighted the high level of production practices of the Belarusian potash producer.  “The high operational standards and focus on safety have gained JSC Belaruskali and JSC Belarusian Potash Company recognition as reliable and responsible suppliers. These are the qualities we very much value in a trusted partner," said Holsether.

Ms. Elena Kudryavets, Director General of Belarusian Potash Company, pointed out: “Yara is a strategic partner of BPC, and we do appreciate the company’s respectful attitude and trust in us. This is why it is our pleasure to provide our partners the opportunity to get a first-hand experience and thus make sure the Belarusian potash industry comes across as stable, reliable, and effective".
