JOINT PRESS RELEASE OF BELARUSSIAN POTASH COMPANY AND CNAMPGC FOLLOWING THE RESULTS OF THE VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
During November 13-16, 2015, the joint delegation of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Co-operatives, headed by the Vice President Mr. Li Chunsheng and one of the largest players on the potash fertilizers’ market of China – CNAMPGC Holding Limited Corporation – headed by the General Manager Mr. Luo Deqiang, visited the Republic of Belarus.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the work of JSC Belaruskali in Soligorsk, visited the potash mine and concentrating facilities, got the detailed information about the methods used in production and concentration of potash ore. The modern level of production’s technical equipment, high quality and wide product range, as well as the company’s compliance with international standards, were pointed out during the visit.
‘We were impressed by the scale and production level of this enterprise and would cherish the memories about our visit to the mine. We want to single out the producer’s eagerness to meet real needs of its consumers, due to which Belaruskali is constantly expands its product range’, said ACFSMC’s Vice President Mr. Li Chunsheng.
During the visit, the representatives of CNAMPGC Holding Limited Corporation and ACFSMC met the management of JSC Belaruskali and JSC Belarusian Potash Company and discussed the current situation on the potash market. The parties assessed the results of cooperation in 2015 in a positive way and exchanged the views on the further promotion of Belarusian potash to the PRC market.
Mr. Luo Deqiang, General Manager of CNAMPGC Holding Limited Corporation, pointed out: ‘We have been cooperating with Belarusian producer and potash supplier for many years, and highly appreciate the level of business comfort and prompt services, provided by Belaruskali and BPC’.
Following the results of the visit, General Manager of CNAMPGC, Mr. Luo Deqiang, and Director General of JSC Belarusian Potash Company, Ms. Elena Kudryavets, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation. The Memorandum is signed for 5 years, from 2016 to 2020, and demonstrates the great potential for economic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China; it will strengthen the long-term mutually beneficial business relation between both the parties and the states.
Speaking about the significance of the signed document, Ms. Elena Kudryavets, Director General of JSC Belarusian Potash Company, highlighted: ‘We have been working productively with CNAMPGC, shipping significant volumes of potash every year and providing annual positive supply dynamics. We can confidently say that CNAMPGC is one of the largest buyers of the Belarusian potash. Our relations with Chinese partners are based on the mutual respect and trust, and we cherish greatly the achieved level of the mutual understanding. We are grateful to our partners for the fruitful cooperation and are interested in further productive cooperation that will contribute to the growth of both companies and the development of economic relations between our countries as well. And the Memorandum signed is a kind of a road map for our cooperation in the next 5 years.’
